Flix was involved in the development and production of a new original drama, It Helps to Talk. This drama is part of a larger training package launched on October 16th by Skills for Care, aimed at improving Communication between Social and Health services delivering End of Life Care in the UK.
Flix assisted in the delivery of a series of workshops made up of community ‘Champions’ from all walks of life, including those receiving care, family or primary carers, those who had been bereaved, and a range of professionals from the social and health care services. From the real stories and experiences shared in those workshops, an outline and script were developed that consolidated them into a single family’s story.
This ‘making of’ film covers the inception, development, and filming of this powerful new film.
