VR can support patient wellbeing

Flix partnered with CW+ to create immersive content for clinical studies at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital. The research explored how VR could help reduce anxiety and pain in Children’s A&E, improve sleep in the ICU and lower stress in the Cardiac Catheter Lab. Across ten unique 360° films set in calming UK locations, the results were remarkable, showing significant reductions in both patient pain and anxiety.
