Flix enjoys a close relationship with Royal Trinity Hospice, and produces a majority of their film content for their website and other purposes. We have been proud to contribute films over the years to Trinity’s Star Ball – their primary black tie fundraiser – to highlight the outstanding work Trinity undertakes in the community.
This year Trinity wanted to take a different approach, and Flix developed a creative outline that would reflect the various stages and levels of care through the experiences of patients and their families, and the nurses who support them. With our experience working with vulnerable people, we were able to sensitively capture powerful reflections on dying and death, from those facing their end of life, and those who had recently lost loved ones.
The result was a powerful, emotionally challenging and honest film, that moved the audience at the Star Ball and received a resoundingly positive response.
